I AM intrigued to learn that Sir Sean Connery has reportedly trademarked his own name to stop others from cashing in on his fame so that only he can turn a profit by licensing his name for various commercial products, one of which is toilet paper (“The name’s Sir Sean … by law, The Herald, December 27).
Has the star of Dr No (1962) in mind a Thunderbox sequel to Thunderball (1965)?

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
