FOLLOWING on from the successful completion of the electrification of Edinburgh to Glasgow railway and soon to be finished Stirling/Alloa/Dunblane route, now is not the time to disband the teams, but to electrify another route for future generations. The teams have worked tirelessly whilst we were all tucked up in bed and don't deserve to be sent on their way.

The next route for electrification should be East Kilbride and Barrhead, as the diesel 156 units are getting close to 30 years old.

The equipment and people involved are still here, the additional cost of them returning at sometime in the future would add a considerable sum to the project. They should be allowed to continue their good work.
