MUCH as I applaud the bravery and tenacity of Sir Andy Murray I am somewhat saddened by the degree to which his wife, Kim Sears, has been marginalised once more by the camera-happy mother, Judy Murray. I have yet to read a single mention of the mother of his children in any report on his possible retirement. Surely allegiance should shift from mother to wife upon marriage? The mother-in-law should be taking a back seat now and it is to his wife Sir Andy should be turning for solace and comfort.
I wonder what Kim's opinion is of the recent publicity?
