WHILE not arguing with the call from CBI for the devolved governments to have a place in Brexit negotiations (“Business leaders want devolved nations in Brexit talks”, The Herald, June 16, and Letters June 16), I question whether there is a good deal to be had and cannot see the opportunities the signatories allude to.

I am sick to death of the Conservative Government constantly banging on about getting a good deal for the UK. Surely a good deal would be a better deal than we already have with the EU. Does anyone in their right mind see that happening? We are surely faced with making the best of a bad decision by UK voters.
