I WATCHED with admiration and emotion all the fund-raising efforts of so many people to make life better for children in Children in Need on the BBC on Friday (November 17). Many of these children benefit enormously from the money raised often by people who they themselves have very little.

Meanwhile, the very wealthy who already have too much, greedily hide their millions of pounds in seedy offshore accounts to avoid tax. Unlike the rest of us who pay our tax to support care and efforts to give quality of life to our communities.

These greedy millionaires should hang their heads in shame. They should watch Children in Need to see dignified, empathetic and generous people.
