I HAVE once again watched a television programme discussing the NHS and its ills, excuse the pun. Is it totally beyond our elected representatives to put aside their own policies and concentrate on what is truly important: saving our NHS?

There is no simple solution but a group of politicians from every party working together with independent people to look at what is wrong and put it right. Everybody has an example of something which adds to the cost of running a hospital. It might take a long time but it has to happen if we want to keep our precious NHS.
