ROSS COUNTY striker Craig Curran has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension.

The 27-year-old arrived in Dingwall in January 2015 and has scored 19 goals in 73 appearances for the Highland club.

Curran's deal was due to expire at the end of the campaign, but the Staggies confirmed on Tuesday that his deal has been renewed for another season.

The Englishman has scored seven times in 34 games for County this term, striking twice in his last three league outings for Jim McIntyre's side as they battle for Premiership survival.
