SCOTLAND will face fellow Euro 2017 qualifiers Switzerland in their bid to reach the 2019 Women's World Cup in France. 

The Scots were drawn in qualifying Group 2 alongside the Swiss, Poland, Belarus and Albania on Tuesday.

Shelley Kerr will take over from Anna Signeul after this summer's European Championships to lead them through the qualifying campaign. 

Scotland were seeded second for the draw as they look to book a place at the Women's World Cup for the first time.

Elsewhere in the draw, England and Wales were pitted against each other in Group 1 while Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will also face off in Group 3.

Qualifiers will begin on September 11 2017 and conclude on September 4 2018, with the World Cup scheduled to take place during June 2019.

Group 1: England, Russia, Wales, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kazakhstan.

Group 2: Switzerland, Scotland, Poland, Belarus, Albania.

Group 3: Norway, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Northern Ireland.

Group 4: Sweden, Denmark, Ukraine, Hungary, Croatia.

Group 5: Germany, Iceland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Faroe Islands.

Group 6: Italy, Belgium, Romania, Portugal, Moldova.

Group 7: Spain, Austria, Finland, Serbia, Israel.
