CELTIC manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that a trio of key players should be available for next week's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

Centre-back Jozo Simunovic, captain Scott Brown and midfielder Stuart Armstrong were all ruled out of action during the international break and they remain unlikely to feature against Dundee in the Premiership this weekend.

But Rodgers, who was today crowned manager of the month for September, is hopeful all three players will be available for the crucial trip to Germany.

"[Simunovic] like Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong is very unlikely to be involved on Saturday but all three should train and hopefully be ready for Bayern Munich," he said.

"So it was never an injury that was going to keep him out for a sustained period of time but he just felt something and stayed behind to get treatment.

"[Brown and Armstrong] are great. They've come through very, very well.

"They'll join the squad tomorrow for training and maybe Saturday is too soon for them but certainly Bayern Munich should be fine."
