ST Johnstone players are among the most loyal in Europe and top the Ladbrokes Premiership table for the average time footballers spend at their club.
Ticketgum.com has compiled a ranking of loyalty at the 12 Scottish top-flight clubs, with the Perth side keeping playing staff at McDiarmid Park for 3.96 years on average.
Celtic are the next highest ranked team on 3.45 years, while Motherwell and Rangers prop up the table with 0.9 and 1.08 years respectively.
Figures from the Football Observatory show that the Premiership is ranked ninth out of Europe's 31 top-flight divisions for player loyalty and Scottish players spend an average of 1.98 years at their club.
Saints' score of 3.96 is almost double the average and places them as the sixth highest-ranked team in the continent.
Meanwhile, an average of 42.5 per cent of Premiership players are new signings, just below the Europe-wide average of 44.8 per cent but significantly higher than the English Premier League's figure of 33.3 per cent.
