CRAIG GORDON: May feel he could have got down to Neymar’s equaliser for PSG, but could do nothing about his second or third. Tried to spread himself to prevent fourth to no avail. Got away with sloppy pass to Cavani, then simply watched stunning goals fly past him. 4

MIKAEL LUSTIG: Deployed on the right of a back three, but night was cut short after just 13 minutes as he seemed to pick up a strain while attempting to prevent a corner and was replaced by Bitton. 2

DEDRYCK BOYATA: Posted missing alongside the rest of the Celtic defence as PSG ran riot in the first half, and sometimes without having to do all that much. Got away with a fresh air swipe and looked shell-shocked. 3

JOZO SIMUNOVIC: Hadn’t played since the away win in Anderlecht in late September and it showed here. Looked ring-rusty and positioning way off as PSG penetrated the Celtic backline at will. 4

JAMES FORREST: Was sensational against Bayern Munich in right wing-back role, and showed early promise with direct running, but was soon crowded out and faded from game. 4

OLIVIER NTCHAM: Clever corner routine picked out Dembele for Celtic’s opener then flashed a good effort wide midway through the first half. Influence on the game waned though as PSG seized control. Replaced by Kouassi with a little over 20 minutes to go. 5

SCOTT BROWN: Terrible pass in midfield gave up possession for PSG to break and equalise through Neymar, and that was all the encouragement they needed. Regrouped after interval and showed some nice touches, but poor clearance teed Verratti up for the fifth. 4

CALLUM MCGREGOR: Struggled to keep hold of the ball with PSG players swarming around him in advanced areas, and as such, couldn’t really link with Dembele. 4

KIERAN TIERNEY: Tried to get forward and support the attack when he could, but got little change from Dani Alves and was preoccupied a lot of the time by the Brazilian superstar going the other way alongside Mbappe. Misjudged cross for PSG’s sixth. 4

TOM ROGIC: A peripheral figure for the most part, but showed class with a lovely lay-off that sent Brown away for a dangerous attack in the second half. Little else to speak of. 4

MOUSSA DEMBELE: Dream start as he met Ntcham’s low corner perfectly to steer the ball into Areola’s top corner with his first touch, albeit with a slight deflection. Provided a threat and competed well physically before receiving an ovation from around the ground as he departed for Grffiths. 6

SUBSTITUTES:

NIR BITTON: On early for the injured Lustig and had his legs tied in knots almost instantly as a one-two between Neymar and Verratti led to the former getting his second of the night. Booked for a tug on Neymar. 3
