SCOTLAND have dropped three places in the latest FIFA ranking to draw level with the Republic of Ireland and Iran.
Malky Mackay led the national team on an interim basis for a friendly against the Netherlands earlier this month at Pittodrie.
The 1-0 defeat the Scots suffered that night has seen them fall to 32nd place, alongside the Irish who have fallen by six spots in the wake of their World Cup play-off loss to Switzerland.
Last month Scotland rose 14 places up the table following the win over Slovakia and draw against Slovenia, despite those results not being enough to secure a Russia 2018 play-off.
The top five is unchanged, with Germany leading the way followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
England have fallen three places to 15th, Wales have dropped five spots to 19th and Nothern Ireland have gone down one place to 24th.
