ALFREDO Morelos is walking another suspension tightrope after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign in the draw with Kilmarnock.

The striker missed the Betfred Cup defeat to Aberdeen at the weekend following cautions against Killie and Ayr United in the previous two rounds.

Now another yellow card against St Mirren on Saturday would rule him out of the Premiership clash with Livingston at Ibrox later this month.

Morelos saw his red card against Aberdeen downgraded to yellow and has also been booked against Celtic, Dundee and Hamilton on league duty.

Suspensions kick in a fortnight after the sixth caution and the Colombian could now have another ban hanging over his head going into a crucial run of Premiership fixtures in December.
