Scotland boss Gordon Strachan has selected the Aberdeen pair Mark Reynolds and Kenny McLean in the Scotland squad for the World Cup qualifier next month against England.

There is also a call up for the uncapped Jamie Murphy after his performances in helping Brighton win promotion to the Premier League.

But perhaps the biggest talking point will revolve around the non-inclusion of Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, despite his outstanding form for the champions over recent weeks.
