CELTIC will take on Czech champions Slavia Prague in a pre-season friendly next month.

The Hoops announced on Monday that they will travel to the capital of the Czech Republic to take on the Czech Liga winners on Tuesday July 4.

The game at the Eden Arena will mark the culmination of a tour starting in Austria on Wednesday June 28, when Brendan Rodgers' Bhoys face Austrian second-tier side BW Linz in Rohrbach.

Next on the agenda for the Treble winners will be Rapid Vienna, who they will face in Amstetten on Saturday July 1 before heading to Prague.

The announcement of the three-match tour comes after the news last week that Celtic will play Shamrock Rovers in Dublin on Saturday July 8.
